By using Penroll, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
What Penroll is
Penroll is a hiring workspace for small teams. It keeps job listings, candidate applications and recommendations, interviews, offers, and related hiring activities together. Automatically generated content, including job posts, candidate recommendations, and offer drafts, is a draft or recommendation, not legal advice or a hiring decision made on your behalf. You review and approve every step.
Not a substitute for legal counsel
This is important. Penroll's AI-generated content references jurisdiction-specific employment law where appropriate, but it is a draft that has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Before using it for hiring, employment, termination, or any matter with legal consequences, you should:
- Have it reviewed by qualified counsel in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Verify all legal references, compliance language, and required disclosures.
- Adjust country-specific clauses for your specific situation.
Penroll is not a law firm and does not provide legal services or advice.
Hiring packages and payment
The complimentary first hire, current one-time hiring packages, included candidate reviews, and any optional extras are described on the Pricing page. The applicable price, number of hires, and included candidate reviews are shown before purchase. Existing subscriptions or previously purchased services continue under the terms presented when they were purchased.
If you have a question about a charge, an existing subscription, or a hiring package, contact support@penroll.app. Refunds and cancellations are handled according to the terms shown for the relevant purchase and applicable law.
Accounts and workspaces
You sign in with Google or an email magic link — there are no passwords to manage. Each account belongs to a company workspace; the person who creates it can invite teammates from Settings → Team. The complimentary first hire and each one-time package state their included hires, candidate reviews, and offer letters on the Pricing page.
Acceptable use
Don't use Penroll to:
- Generate discriminatory or unlawful hiring content.
- Misrepresent job openings (e.g., publishing roles you have no intention of filling).
- Probe, attack, or attempt to disrupt the service.
- Resell or white-label Penroll without written permission.
Candidate data and your obligations as Controller
For data your candidates submit through Penroll (CVs, screening answers, interview and offer details), you are the data Controller and Penroll is the Processor acting on your instructions. This relationship, including sub-processors and security measures, is governed by our Data Processing Agreement, which forms part of these Terms. You’re responsible for having a lawful basis to collect and process candidate data and for your own privacy notice to candidates.
Liability
Penroll is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including any damages arising from your use of generated documents in legal, hiring, or employment contexts.
Termination
You can stop using the service at any time. We can suspend or terminate accounts for material breach of these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be communicated by email to affected account holders and via a notice on the site. Continued use after a change is acceptance of the updated terms.
