  • POS system competency and basic maths for cash handling and till reconciliation
  • Ability to stand for 6–8 hours and work flexible retail hours including weekends
  • Clear communication skills and patience in high-pressure service periods

Nice to have

  • SCA (Specialty Coffee Association) Level 1 or equivalent barista certification
  • Experience with single-origin bean characteristics and ability to articulate flavour notes to customers
  • Prior experience opening or closing a café and managing end-of-shift procedures
